The 8th Study Trip to Takeo Market and Sophorn Mart for Grade 1st–2nd Students of American Intercon School, Takeo Campus

On January 18, 2024, the committee of American Intercon School, Takeo Campus, organized a study trip for students in Grades 1–2 to Takeo Market and Sophorn Mart.

This was an opportunity for the students to study more about the public, and the environment, in addition to their class’s experience such as:

  1. To communicate with sellers, and buyers and strengthen friendships among their peers.
  2. To see real pictures and live situations that were explained in class and learn new vocabulary that has not been introduced.
  3. To recognize the signs and markings used in the mart and public market.
  4. To study the names of fish, meat, fruits, and vegetables that are for sale in the market and ways to store them in the right place according to their required environment.
  5. To be aware of vegetables and other foods that may contain harmful chemicals when purchasing.
  6. To carefully keep their belongings and their money in a safe place while traveling in public places.
  7. To encourage and teach the experience of leadership, team building, ownership, and communication with the public.
  8. To gain more information and fresh feelings while visiting there and back.
