The Flower Planting Life Skill Training Program

On November 25, 2024, The American Intercon School, Takeo Campus, organized a life skill on "Planting Flowers" for kindergarten students. The purpose of this program is to enable students to learn about agriculture in order to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge and apply it in their daily lives.

1. Land Preparation

2. Nursery

Soil preparation for planting seedlings (to be roasted or steamed) for 10 minutes, or put the soil mixture to dry for half a day and leave it to cool before putting it in the tray (soil, manure, sand, or charcoal, 1 part)

3. Fertilizer application

5 g 10 days after planting the recommended amount of fertilizer is based on the number of seedlings, and the application of fertilizer depends on the season, soil conditions, and growing conditions of the crop.

4. Contaminant management

To prevent the spread of disease to crops, remove old crops, diseased crops, and weeds by burning or burying them at a distance. Plant rotational crops to prevent the occurrence of pests and diseases and help improve the soil. To be nutritious.

5. Contamination control and safety of pesticides

Alternate spraying to prevent insect resistance Be sure to read labels and instructions before using pesticides (crops and contaminants).
